Go to punjabpolicerecruitment2026 (link also on www.punjabpolice.gov.in) and complete a fresh registration with an active mobile number and email ID. Verify via OTP.

Fill the Application Form

Enter personal details, cadre choice in order of preference, and (for District Cadre) 15 district preferences. Selected candidates are not posted in their home district.

Upload photo and signature

Upload a recent colour passport photo (4.5cm × 3.5cm, white background, 80–200 KB JPEG) and signature (80–200 KB JPEG).

Pay the fee online

Pay the application + examination fee through the online gateway — the only accepted mode. Fee is non-refundable.

Submit and save a printout

Review all entries, submit the form, and keep a printout. To correct mistakes, do a fresh registration and submit a new form — the latest application is the one considered.

Important Instructions

  • Applications are accepted online only; incomplete applications are rejected outright.
  • District Cadre applicants must list 15 district preferences; selected candidates are not posted in their home district.
  • Name must match the Matriculation/10th certificate, without prefixes (Dr., Mr., Ms., etc.).
  • Serving government employees must obtain an NOC, or upload a signed declaration to produce it at document scrutiny.
  • Concealing current government employment is treated as concealment of facts and leads to rejection/termination.
  • If you submit more than one application, only the latest one is considered.
  • Apply well before the closing date to avoid last-day server load; wrong information may invite legal action.
