National Productivity Council to EADA. Designated the Environment Audit Designated Agency (EADA) via an agreement with the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. Established in 1958, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry; HQ in New Delhi. Director General: Smt. Neerja Sekhar (IAS). Strengthens compliance with the Environment Protection Act, Water Act, Air Act & Wildlife Protection Act.
